Safety Officer (Riyas Project)

An urgent recruitment opportunity has been announced for an experienced Safety Officer (Aramco Approved) for a long-term industrial project at the Riyas Project in Saudi Arabia. This role is essential for ensuring workplace safety, monitoring hazardous activities, and maintaining strict compliance with Aramco safety standards on-site.The Safety Officer will play a key role in protecting workers, preventing accidents, and ensuring all industrial operations follow approved safety procedures. Candidates with Aramco approval and experience in oil & gas or construction safety environments will be highly preferred. Immediate mobilization is required for qualified applicants with valid documentation.

Key Responsibilities

The selected Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring daily site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and Aramco standards. Duties include identifying potential hazards, conducting site inspections, and ensuring safe working conditions for all personnel.They will also be responsible for conducting toolbox talks, issuing safety warnings, and ensuring workers follow proper PPE guidelines. Coordination with site engineers and project supervisors is essential to maintain a safe and productive work environment. Proper documentation of safety incidents and preventive measures is also a key responsibility.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants must have Aramco-approved Safety Officer certification and experience working in industrial or oil & gas projects. Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard identification, and emergency response procedures is required.Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with site teams and enforce safety compliance strictly. Experience in GCC countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, is preferred. Physical fitness, alertness, and strong decision-making skills are essential for this role.
