Work Scope and Key Duties
The selected Boom Truck Operators will be responsible for safely operating heavy boom trucks to lift, shift, and transport materials as required by site supervisors. Daily duties include conducting pre-operation inspections, ensuring equipment is in proper working condition, and performing lifting tasks according to load plans and safety guidelines. Operators must coordinate with rigging teams, signalmen, and safety officers to ensure all lifting activities are executed safely and efficiently. Proper handling of loads, adherence to safety procedures, and timely reporting of equipment issues are key responsibilities in this role.
Skills, Experience, and Requirements
Applicants must have proven experience operating boom trucks in industrial or construction environments. A valid heavy equipment operating license is required along with Aramco approval for eligibility. Strong knowledge of lifting procedures, load safety, and industrial site regulations is essential. Candidates should be physically fit, alert, and capable of working in demanding field conditions. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately are necessary for safe operations. Prior experience in large-scale construction or oil & gas projects is highly preferred.
