A Red Sea Project Contractor is urgently hiring qualified Rigger Level-1 and Rigger Level-2 professionals for a long-term construction and lifting operations project in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. Rigging personnel play a critical role in ensuring the safe lifting, movement, and positioning of heavy equipment and materials on construction sites. These positions are ideal for candidates with experience in lifting operations who are committed to maintaining safety standards and supporting efficient project execution.

Key Duties and Job Responsibilities

Riggers are responsible for preparing, inspecting, and securing lifting equipment before operations begin. Duties include attaching loads correctly, guiding crane operators using approved hand signals, checking the condition of slings and lifting gear, and ensuring all lifting activities are conducted safely. Rigger Level-1 personnel typically handle more advanced lifting operations and may assist in planning critical lifts, while Rigger Level-2 personnel support routine lifting activities under approved procedures. Both positions require close coordination with crane operators, supervisors, and safety teams to prevent accidents and maintain productivity.

Required Skills and Technical Expertise

Applicants should have a minimum of one year of experience in rigging, construction, or lifting operations. Strong knowledge of rigging equipment, load handling techniques, lifting safety standards, and communication procedures is required. Candidates must be physically fit and capable of working in demanding site environments.
