Safety Officer – Long-Term Project
An urgent requirement has been announced for Aramco-approved Safety Officers for a long-term project in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia. The selected candidates will be responsible for maintaining workplace safety standards, ensuring compliance with Aramco regulations, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment across the project site.
Key Duties and Job Responsibilities
The Safety Officer will monitor daily site activities, identify potential hazards, conduct safety inspections, and ensure compliance with project safety procedures. Responsibilities include implementing safety policies, conducting toolbox talks, investigating incidents, and coordinating with supervisors to maintain a safe workplace.
The role also requires ensuring that all workers comply with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and project-specific safety standards.
Required Skills and Technical Expertise
Applicants should have relevant industrial safety experience, preferably on Aramco projects. Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety procedures, hazard identification, risk assessment, and emergency response is preferred.
Candidates must possess either a valid Vendor Code or Ajeer registration as required by the project.
