Key Responsibilities
Block Masons will be responsible for laying concrete blocks, bricks, and other masonry materials according to construction drawings and specifications. Plaster Masons will prepare and apply plaster finishes to walls, ceilings, and structural surfaces while ensuring smooth and high-quality workmanship. Helpers will assist skilled workers by carrying materials, preparing work areas, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting daily site activities. All employees must follow company procedures, comply with safety regulations, and work closely with supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Maintaining productivity, quality standards, and professional conduct is expected from all selected candidates.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must possess a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in their respective fields. Block Masons should have experience in masonry construction, measurement techniques, and structural work. Plaster Masons must be familiar with plastering methods, surface preparation, and finishing techniques. Helpers should be physically fit and capable of performing manual labor in construction environments. Strong teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions are important for all categories. Candidates must also be able to provide a timesheet from their previous employer as part of the application process. Previous Gulf construction experience will be considered an advantage.
