ROLE OVERVIEW AND INDUSTRY IMPORTANCE
Work Permit Receivers (WPR) are responsible for controlling and coordinating permit-to-work systems in industrial environments. In oil & gas and refinery projects located in industrial regions such as Ras Tanura, WPR personnel play a critical role in maintaining workplace safety, ensuring hazard control, and verifying operational readiness before work activities begin. Their work supports accident prevention and ensures compliance with strict industrial safety regulations.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
WPR personnel are responsible for managing permit documentation, verifying worksite safety conditions, coordinating with supervisors and safety teams, and ensuring all operational procedures are followed before authorizing work activities. Duties include monitoring compliance with Aramco safety requirements, maintaining permit records, and supporting safe execution of maintenance and construction activities within industrial facilities.
