Key Responsibilities
Selected 6G Welders will perform GTAW and SMAW welding activities on industrial pipelines and structural components according to approved welding procedures and engineering standards. Responsibilities include preparing welding materials, executing high-quality weld joints, maintaining welding equipment, and ensuring all welding work meets Aramco quality requirements. Welders must follow safety procedures, inspect completed welds, and coordinate with supervisors and quality control personnel throughout project operations. Candidates are also expected to maintain proper documentation related to welding continuity, repair rates, and qualification records. Precision, technical skill, and adherence to industrial safety standards are critical for successful project execution.
Skills and Requirements
Applicants must have strong experience as 6G Welders in industrial oil and gas projects, particularly in GTAW/SMAW Golden Joint welding. Aramco Vendor Code is mandatory for this position. Candidates must provide WQT Third Party Certificates along with CPY Approval, welder registration and tracking records for the past 12 months in line with SAEP-324 Appendix IV, welder repair rate reports, and continuity records for the previous year. Applicants should possess strong knowledge of welding procedures, safety standards, and welding quality requirements. Required documents include valid Iqama with minimum 3 months validity, valid Muqeem, medical report, passport with minimum 3 months validity, and insurance documents.
