Primary Duties and Responsibilities
A Rigger III is responsible for preparing and executing lifting operations in coordination with crane operators and site supervisors. Duties include inspecting rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, and hooks, ensuring proper load attachment, and maintaining strict safety standards during lifting activities. The role also involves calculating load weights, following lifting plans, and ensuring that materials are safely moved and positioned at designated locations. Riggers must actively monitor work areas to prevent hazards and ensure compliance with site safety regulations at all times.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Applicants must possess valid Rigger Level 3 certification along with TUV approval and original lifting competency cards (Level 3 & 4 holders preferred). Candidates should have practical experience in rigging operations within construction or industrial environments, particularly in oil and gas projects. Strong knowledge of lifting procedures, hazard identification, and safety protocols is required. Physical fitness, teamwork, and the ability to follow strict instructions are essential for this role. Candidates must also carry all required documents including CV, passport, iqama, muqeem, medical, insurance, GOSI, and passport-size photos.
