An urgent shutdown recruitment has been announced for SAFCO and SASREF projects in Saudi Arabia. The hiring is focused on certified safety and permit-related roles required for high-risk maintenance shutdown activities in petrochemical plants. These positions are suitable for experienced professionals holding SAFCO or SASREF approvals, ensuring strict compliance with industrial safety and operational procedures during shutdown execution.

Key Responsibilities

Fire Watch personnel will monitor hot work areas to prevent fire hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations during welding and cutting activities. Permit Receivers will manage and verify work permits, ensuring all safety conditions are met before job execution in restricted or hazardous zones. SBM (SASREF Approved) staff will support shutdown coordination activities, ensuring safe execution of maintenance tasks and compliance with plant safety systems. All roles require close coordination with supervisors, contractors, and safety teams.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must have prior experience in petrochemical shutdown projects with valid SAFCO or SASREF approval. Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and emergency response protocols is essential. Applicants must be familiar with plant safety standards and hazard control measures. Required documents include CV, Iqama, passport copy, Muqeem (3+ months), medical fitness certificate, insurance, Chamber registration, and Ajeer. Attention to detail and strict safety compliance are mandatory.
