Smartech Contracting Establishment is urgently hiring Standby Men for a 4-month industrial project in Jubail. This role is essential for supporting safe execution of work activities in industrial environments, especially in shutdown and maintenance operations where standby personnel are required for monitoring and emergency response readiness. The position is suitable for candidates with valid industrial authorization and immediate availability.
Key Responsibilities
The Standby Man will be responsible for monitoring ongoing work activities in hazardous areas and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Duties include remaining alert during hot work, confined space work, or maintenance activities, supporting emergency response procedures, and coordinating with safety personnel if any unsafe condition arises. The role also involves verifying that all required safety precautions are in place before work begins and maintaining communication with site supervisors throughout the job.
Skills and Knowledge
Candidates must have prior industrial site experience and possess a valid Sabtank authorization card. Strong awareness of safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and site monitoring responsibilities is required. Applicants must provide Chamber registration, Ajeer, and normal project documents, with the original passport mandatory for verification.
