Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

The selected HSE Officers will be responsible for implementing health and safety policies, conducting site inspections, identifying workplace hazards, monitoring compliance with safety regulations, and ensuring that all activities are performed according to approved procedures. Daily responsibilities include preparing safety reports, conducting toolbox talks, promoting safety awareness among workers, investigating incidents, and supporting management in maintaining a safe working environment. Candidates will also assist in enforcing environmental and occupational health standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills, Experience and Professional Qualifications

Applicants must have more than 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and possess strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental management systems. Candidates holding certifications such as FNS, BLS, IOSH, and NEBOSH will be preferred. Experience with Maaden projects and an engineering degree will be considered an advantage. Successful candidates should demonstrate leadership abilities, strong communication skills, risk assessment expertise, and a proactive approach to workplace safety management.
