Driver (MRC)

MRC is urgently hiring experienced Heavy Drivers (Drum Truck) for a project in the Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for skilled drivers who possess a valid Saudi heavy driving license and have experience operating drum trucks in industrial or construction environments. Heavy Drivers play a vital role in transporting construction materials and equipment safely while ensuring timely project operations. Their responsibility extends beyond driving to maintaining vehicle safety, complying with traffic regulations, and supporting efficient logistics throughout the project. This position offers immediate mobilization, company-provided accommodation, and the opportunity to work on a project with the possibility of extension beyond the initial contract period.

Key Responsibilities

The Heavy Driver will be responsible for operating drum trucks safely and efficiently while transporting materials to designated project locations. Daily duties include performing vehicle inspections before and after each shift, ensuring the vehicle is in proper working condition, following approved transportation routes, maintaining delivery records, and complying with Saudi traffic laws and company safety policies. Drivers are expected to coordinate with supervisors, logistics personnel, and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining high standards of professionalism and workplace safety.

Skills and Professional Knowledge

Applicants should have previous experience operating heavy vehicles, particularly drum trucks, in industrial or construction projects. A valid Saudi Heavy Driving License is mandatory. Candidates must also possess a valid Vendor Code, Chamber Agreement, and Muqeem report with a minimum validity of three months. Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, defensive driving techniques, vehicle maintenance, and safe transportation practices is essential. Applicants should be physically fit, responsible, punctual, and capable of working efficiently under demanding project schedules.
