This is a 3-month contract offering competitive hourly rates and the opportunity to work on one of Saudi Arabia’s leading industrial projects. Fire Watch personnel play a vital role in maintaining workplace safety by monitoring hot work activities, identifying potential fire hazards, and responding immediately to emergency situations. Safety Officers are responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations to ensure that all project activities comply with Aramco safety standards. This recruitment is ideal for experienced candidates seeking immediate employment in a professional industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Fire Watch / Stand By Man will monitor welding, cutting, grinding, and other hot work operations to prevent fire incidents and ensure compliance with approved safety procedures. Daily responsibilities include inspecting work areas before and during operations, ensuring fire extinguishers and emergency equipment are readily available, reporting unsafe conditions, maintaining communication with supervisors, and responding quickly to emergencies. Safety Officers will conduct routine safety inspections, identify workplace hazards, perform risk assessments, enforce company HSE policies, investigate incidents, organize toolbox talks, and ensure that all employees follow Aramco safety regulations. Both positions require a proactive approach to workplace safety and close coordination with project management and field personnel.
Skills and Professional Knowledge
Applicants should have relevant experience in industrial construction, maintenance, or oil and gas projects. Fire Watch / Stand By Man candidates must understand fire prevention procedures, emergency response protocols, and workplace safety practices. Safety Officers should possess strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, risk management, and incident reporting. Good communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. Candidates must also have a valid Chamber Certificate and Vendor Code, as these documents are mandatory for the recruitment process.
