Roles and Responsibilities
Helpers assist skilled workers by handling materials, preparing work areas, cleaning job sites, and supporting various construction and maintenance activities. Work Permit Receivers (WPR) obtain and manage work permits, coordinate with operations and safety departments, and ensure all work complies with approved permit requirements. Standby Men remain on-site during hazardous work, monitor workers’ safety, maintain communication during confined space or critical activities, and respond immediately to emergencies if required.
Millwright Technicians are responsible for installing, assembling, aligning, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and rotating equipment. They perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and ensure machinery operates according to engineering specifications. Rigger Level III personnel plan and supervise lifting operations, inspect rigging equipment, calculate load requirements, coordinate with crane operators, and ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and in accordance with industry standards.
Skills and Professional Knowledge
