Core Responsibilities
Riggers are responsible for inspecting lifting equipment, preparing loads for lifting operations, selecting appropriate rigging gear, and coordinating with crane operators during lifting activities. They must ensure that all lifting operations comply with site safety regulations and approved lifting plans. Daily responsibilities also include checking slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting accessories, identifying hazards, and maintaining safe work practices throughout project operations.
Required Skills and Experience
Applicants should have previous experience in industrial lifting and rigging operations. Rigger Level I candidates should possess advanced rigging knowledge, while Rigger Level II candidates should be familiar with standard lifting procedures and safety requirements.
