Welder, Safety Officer, WPR & Fire Watch

Industrial construction, fabrication, maintenance, and shutdown projects depend on skilled workers who can perform specialized tasks while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. Welders are essential for producing strong and reliable joints, while safety personnel help control workplace hazards and permit-related activities. Esharaqa Contracting has announced several urgent manpower requirements dated 31 August and 1 September 2026, covering 65 positions for Multi Welders, Safety Officers, WPRs, and Fire Watch personnel. The advertised hourly rates range from 16 SAR to 40 SAR, with both long-term and short-term assignments available.

Multiple Openings Across Industrial Projects

The recruitment drive includes opportunities in Fadhili, Jeddah, and Hadeed. The largest single requirement is for 30 Multi Welders – SS in Fadhili, offering 40 SAR per hour. A further 15 Multi Welder – CS positions are available in Jeddah at 35 SAR per hour.

The Hadeed requirement includes Safety Officers, Work Permit Receivers, and Fire Watch workers. These positions require specific Hadeed approval or authorization, while the Multi Welder – SS position requires Chamber documentation. Candidates are also instructed to attend the interview with a hard-copy CV and original passport where applicable.

Role Overview and Importance

Multi Welders perform specialized welding work on industrial components and piping systems. Stainless-steel and carbon-steel welding require controlled techniques, accurate joint preparation, and consistent workmanship because weld quality can affect the reliability of completed installations.

Safety Officers have a broader responsibility for monitoring workplace safety, identifying hazards, and supporting compliance with project procedures. For this recruitment, the Safety Officer position requires Hadeed approval.

A Work Permit Receiver helps ensure that work activities are performed under the correct permit conditions. Hadeed authorization is specifically required for the advertised WPR role. Fire Watch personnel monitor designated areas during potentially hazardous work and help identify fire risks before they escalate.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Multi Welders may prepare welding surfaces, perform welding according to approved procedures, inspect joints for visible defects, and coordinate with fitters, supervisors, and quality teams. Stainless-steel welders should be comfortable working with SS materials, while CS welders should understand carbon-steel fabrication requirements.

Safety Officers may conduct site inspections, identify unsafe practices, communicate safety observations, support toolbox meetings, and monitor compliance with workplace safety procedures. They may also coordinate with supervisors to address hazards and improve safe working practices.

WPR personnel may review work permits, communicate permit conditions to work crews, and coordinate with responsible site personnel before and during work activities. Fire Watch workers may continuously monitor hot-work areas, remain alert to sparks or ignition sources, and follow emergency procedures when required.

Skills, Experience and Eligibility

Candidates should have practical experience appropriate to their selected position. Multi Welders should possess strong welding skills and understand industrial fabrication requirements. Applicants for the Hadeed positions must hold the specific approval or authorization stated in the vacancy announcement.

The recruitment notice does not provide minimum educational qualifications or confirm whether fresh candidates are accepted. Candidates should verify the experience and eligibility requirements directly with the recruitment team.

For the listed vacancies, documentation varies by position. The Multi Welder – SS and Hadeed safety-related positions specify Chamber, while the Multi Welder – CS vacancy states Normal documents.
