Work Responsibilities and Job Duties

Duties include observing welding and cutting operations, checking for sparks or combustible materials, and remaining alert to any fire hazards during work activities.
The role also requires ensuring that firefighting equipment is available and ready for use, reporting unsafe conditions immediately, and coordinating with safety officers and supervisors to maintain workplace safety. Fire Watch personnel must remain present throughout the assigned work period and ensure that the work area remains safe even after hot work operations are completed.
