Safety Officer (Non-Aramco) – Rate: 24 SAR
Mansour Fareeh Supply General Contracting Est. has announced an urgent requirement for a Safety Officer for a long-term assignment in Yanbu at the Petro Rabigh project. The position requires an experienced safety professional who can operate effectively within an industrial environment and maintain compliance with established site safety procedures. The role is particularly suited to candidates with relevant storage tank experience and previous Petro Rabigh or Rabigh project exposure. The requirement specifies the same Iqama profession and a minimum of five years of experience, making relevant industrial background an important selection factor.
Core Safety Responsibilities
The Safety Officer will be responsible for monitoring workplace safety conditions, identifying potential hazards, and supporting the implementation of site safety procedures. Duties may include conducting routine inspections, ensuring workers follow approved safety practices, monitoring work activities, and reporting unsafe conditions to the responsible management team. The officer should be capable of supporting toolbox meetings, reviewing work areas, and maintaining safety documentation as required. Experience with storage tank activities is specifically required, so candidates should understand the hazards associated with industrial tank work and related site operations.
Required Qualifications & Expertise
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and must hold the same profession on their Iqama. Storage tank experience is required, while previous Rabigh experience is preferred. The vacancy also requires NEBOSH issued before 2022, along with OSHA and BLS qualifications. Candidates should possess practical knowledge of industrial safety procedures and be comfortable working within a structured project environment. Applicants should ensure that their certificates and employment documents are valid and available for verification before submitting their application.
Project & Work Environment
The assignment is located in Yanbu at Petro Rabigh, an industrial environment where safety controls and site compliance are essential to daily operations. Personnel may be required to work around process facilities, storage tanks, maintenance activities, equipment, and other industrial operations. The long-term nature of the assignment makes consistency, safety awareness, and familiarity with established site procedures important. Candidates should be prepared to meet the project’s documentation and access requirements and should confirm all mobilization arrangements with the supplier before reporting.
