Rigger Level III RIYAS Project
Rigging Operations in Industrial Projects
The oil and gas and heavy construction industries of Saudi Arabia depend heavily on skilled rigging professionals to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations across major project sites. A Rigger Level III is a senior-level lifting specialist whose expertise is critical to managing heavy loads, coordinating crane operations, and maintaining strict safety protocols on high-value industrial projects. The RIYAS Project, one of the significant ongoing developments in Saudi Arabia, is currently seeking qualified Aramco-approved riggers who can deliver professional, compliant, and safe rigging services in a demanding industrial environment. This opportunity offers immediate mobilization, making it an urgent opening for qualified candidates ready to begin work without delay.
Core Responsibilities of the Role
A Rigger Level III working on an Aramco-approved project site carries a high level of operational responsibility. The primary duties include planning and executing complex lifting operations, selecting appropriate lifting gear and rigging equipment, and ensuring all loads are secured correctly before and during movement. The rigger works in close coordination with crane operators and site supervisors to interpret lifting plans and rigging drawings, maintaining constant communication throughout each lift. Additional responsibilities include conducting pre-lift inspections of all rigging hardware, identifying and reporting any damaged or substandard equipment, and ensuring full compliance with Aramco’s rigorous HSE standards. The role also involves mentoring junior riggers and actively participating in site safety meetings and toolbox talks.
Required Skills, Certifications and Experience
To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a valid Aramco Approved Rigger Level III certification — this is a non-negotiable requirement for all applicants. Candidates should have substantial hands-on experience in industrial construction or oil and gas environments, with a strong understanding of load calculations, rigging configurations, and lifting equipment classifications. Proficiency in reading and interpreting rigging plans and lifting method statements is essential. A solid command of Aramco’s safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and lifting regulations is expected at this level. Strong attention to detail, physical fitness for site conditions, and the ability to work under pressure in a team-oriented environment are equally important for success in this role.
