Fire Watch & Standby Man
Best Industrial Solutions is urgently hiring experienced Fire Watch and Standby Man personnel for a SASREF Refinery project in Saudi Arabia. These roles are essential for maintaining safety compliance in high-risk industrial environments such as refineries and petrochemical facilities. The positions are suitable for candidates with prior industrial safety experience and approval for SASREF-related projects.
Key Responsibilities and Work Scope
The Fire Watch personnel will be responsible for monitoring hot work activities such as welding and cutting to ensure fire safety compliance. Duties include identifying fire hazards, maintaining fire safety equipment readiness, and responding immediately to any emergency situations.
The Standby Man will support confined space entry operations and ensure worker safety during high-risk activities. Responsibilities include monitoring work permits, assisting rescue operations if needed, and ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed at the site. Both roles require constant alertness and strict adherence to refinery safety regulations.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Requirements
Applicants must have prior experience in refinery or industrial safety environments. SASREF approval will be considered an advantage. Candidates should have strong knowledge of fire safety procedures, hazard identification, and emergency response protocols. Physical fitness, discipline, and readiness to work in high-risk environments are essential requirements.
