PKC has announced an urgent requirement for skilled Fireproofing Applicators and Plaster Masons for a 6-month project in the Marjan Project, Saudi Arabia. The company is seeking experienced manpower capable of working in industrial coating, fireproofing, and finishing works with immediate mobilization. This opportunity is suitable for workers with prior experience in construction finishing, coating systems, and fireproofing applications in industrial environments.
Role Description & Industry Importance
Fireproofing Applicators play a critical role in protecting industrial structures from fire hazards by applying specialized fire-resistant coatings. This work is essential in oil & gas and petrochemical projects where safety compliance is a top priority. Plaster Masons are responsible for surface finishing, leveling, and applying plaster materials to ensure smooth and durable structural surfaces. In fireproofing-related projects, they often support surface preparation and finishing work required before and after coating applications. Together, these roles ensure structural safety, durability, and compliance with industrial fire protection standards.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Fireproofing Applicators will apply fire-resistant materials using approved coating methods, ensuring proper thickness and coverage according to project specifications. Plaster Masons will prepare surfaces, apply plaster materials, and ensure smooth finishing work suitable for industrial coating and fireproofing processes. All workers must follow strict safety procedures, maintain quality standards, and complete tasks within project timelines while coordinating with supervisors.
Skills and Professional Requirements
Applicants must have relevant experience in fireproofing, coating, or masonry work in industrial or construction projects. Prior exposure to fireproofing applications will be an advantage.
