The Safety Officer is responsible for monitoring site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, identifying hazards, and preventing accidents. This role is essential in maintaining operational safety standards in high-risk industrial environments such as Ras Al-Khair.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
The Safety Officer will supervise daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved safety procedures and regulations. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented. The role also involves verifying worker compliance with PPE usage, maintaining safety documentation, and coordinating with supervisors and management to enforce safety standards. All safety procedures must align with Ma’aden-approved requirements and industrial safety regulations.
Skills and Professional Requirements
Applicants must be Ma’aden (Madaan) approved and possess valid ID and authorization documents. Prior experience in industrial safety supervision is mandatory.
