Role Overview and Industry Importance
Quality Control Inspectors, QC Supervisors, and NDT professionals play a vital role in ensuring that pipeline construction and industrial installations meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and engineering compliance. Welding QC Inspectors verify welding procedures and inspect weld quality, while Piping QC Inspectors ensure piping systems are installed according to project specifications. E&I QC Inspectors oversee electrical and instrumentation installations to ensure compliance with engineering standards. Piping QC Supervisors lead quality teams, coordinate inspections, and maintain project quality documentation. NDT Condition Monitoring professionals perform non-destructive examinations to evaluate material integrity without damaging equipment, contributing to the reliability and safety of critical pipeline infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will carry out inspections according to Aramco standards, review engineering drawings and project specifications, prepare quality reports, monitor construction activities, and ensure compliance with approved quality management systems. Welding QC personnel will inspect welding procedures, consumables, and completed welds. Piping QC professionals will verify piping fabrication, installation, hydrotesting, and documentation. E&I QC Inspectors will inspect electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring proper installation and testing. Piping QC Supervisors will oversee inspection teams, coordinate quality activities, and resolve technical quality issues. NDT professionals will conduct inspections using approved non-destructive testing methods while maintaining detailed inspection records and ensuring full compliance with project and client requirements.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Applicants must possess relevant experience in oil and gas, refinery, pipeline, or industrial construction projects. Aramco Approval is mandatory for all applicable positions, and CBT certification is required where specified. Candidates should have excellent knowledge of international quality standards, engineering specifications, inspection procedures, and project documentation.
