Role Overview and Industry Importance
An Aramco Rigger Level III is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing critical lifting operations on industrial construction, refinery, and petrochemical projects. These professionals ensure that cranes, lifting equipment, and rigging accessories are used safely and efficiently while complying with Aramco lifting standards and international safety regulations. Their expertise helps prevent lifting incidents, protect personnel and equipment, and support the successful completion of complex industrial operations.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will inspect lifting equipment before use, prepare and review lifting plans, calculate load requirements, select appropriate rigging gear, and coordinate lifting operations with crane operators and supervisors. Responsibilities also include inspecting slings, shackles, hooks, and other lifting accessories, monitoring critical lifts, maintaining lifting records, identifying workplace hazards, and ensuring all lifting activities comply with Aramco procedures and project safety requirements. The Rigger Level III will also guide lifting teams and promote safe work practices throughout the project.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Applicants must have previous experience as an Aramco Certified Rigger Level III on industrial, refinery, or oil and gas projects. Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, crane signaling, load calculations, lifting equipment inspection, and Aramco lifting standards is essential. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, teamwork, leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
