Role Overview and Industry Importance
Structural Erector Foremen and E&I Foremen play vital leadership roles in industrial construction, oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical projects. Structural Erector Foremen supervise the installation of structural steel, ensuring safe and accurate assembly according to engineering specifications. E&I Foremen oversee electrical and instrumentation activities, ensuring electrical systems, instrumentation devices, and control systems are installed and commissioned safely and efficiently. Both positions are essential for maintaining productivity, quality, and compliance with project safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Structural Erector Foremen will supervise structural steel erection, coordinate work crews, inspect installation quality, monitor lifting operations, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure all work complies with project specifications and HSE requirements. E&I Foremen will lead electrical and instrumentation teams, supervise cable installation, equipment mounting, panel connections, testing, commissioning support, and coordinate daily work activities with project engineers and supervisors. Both roles require maintaining safety standards, preparing progress reports, managing manpower, and ensuring timely project completion.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Applicants should have several years of experience in industrial construction, refinery, petrochemical, or oil & gas projects in their respective disciplines.
