Role Overview and Industry Importance

A Bus Driver plays a vital role in transporting employees safely and efficiently between accommodations, work sites, and designated project locations. On large industrial, oil & gas, refinery, and construction projects, reliable transportation is essential for maintaining productivity and ensuring workers arrive safely and on time. Bus Drivers are responsible for operating company vehicles in accordance with traffic laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations while delivering professional transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidates will safely operate company buses, transport employees according to assigned schedules, conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after each shift, maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle, report mechanical issues immediately, follow approved routes, comply with Saudi traffic regulations, and ensure passenger safety at all times. Drivers will also maintain driving logs, coordinate with transportation supervisors, and strictly follow company safety procedures throughout the project.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of bus driving experience, with experience gained in Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries being considered. Candidates should possess a valid Saudi Bus Driving License, good knowledge of traffic regulations, defensive driving techniques, and safe passenger transportation practices. A Defensive Driving Certificate (Bus) and a Medical Fitness Report with QR Code are required. Strong communication skills, professionalism, punctuality, and a commitment to safety are essential for this role.
