Role Overview and Industry Importance
Forklift Operators and Boom Truck Operators play a vital role in industrial construction, refinery, petrochemical, and oil & gas projects. Forklift Operators are responsible for safely transporting heavy materials, equipment, and supplies within the worksite, while Boom Truck Operators handle lifting and positioning of heavy loads using specialized boom truck equipment. These roles help maintain efficient site operations, improve productivity, and ensure safe material handling throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will safely operate forklifts or boom trucks according to company procedures and Aramco safety standards. Responsibilities include conducting daily equipment inspections, transporting materials, loading and unloading heavy items, following approved lifting plans, maintaining operational records, and reporting equipment defects. Operators must comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, ensure safe work practices, and coordinate with supervisors and lifting teams to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
Applicants should have relevant experience operating forklifts or boom trucks on industrial, refinery, petrochemical, or oil & gas projects. Aramco Approval is mandatory for both positions. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of safe equipment operation, lifting procedures, preventive equipment inspections, and workplace safety regulations.
