Key Responsibilities
Selected 4G Plate Welders will perform Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) on steel plates in the 4G overhead welding position according to approved welding procedures and engineering specifications. Responsibilities include preparing welding joints, operating welding equipment safely, interpreting fabrication drawings, inspecting completed welds for quality, maintaining welding tools, and following all workplace safety regulations.
