Safety Officer ( Longterm Project )

Square Arabia Co. is urgently hiring SABIC Approved Safety Officers for a long-term project in Saudi Arabia. This opportunity is ideal for experienced safety professionals who hold SABIC approval and meet the required documentation criteria. Safety Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, and reducing workplace risks. Candidates with a professional Iqama under the designation of Safety Technician or Safety Supervisor are encouraged to attend the office interview with all required documents.

Key Responsibilities

Safety Officers will monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with company and SABIC safety standards. They will conduct routine safety inspections, identify workplace hazards, investigate incidents, prepare safety reports, and ensure that all employees follow approved safety procedures.

The selected candidates will also conduct toolbox talks, inspect personal protective equipment (PPE), assist in safety training, and coordinate with project management to maintain a safe working environment. Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and knowledge of industrial safety regulations are essential for this role.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants should have previous experience working as a Safety Officer on industrial or construction projects and must possess SABIC approval. The professional Iqama designation must be either Safety Technician or Safety Supervisor.

Candidates should have good knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response procedures, and safety documentation. All required employment documents must be valid, and applicants should be ready for immediate interview and mobilization.
