Key Responsibilities

The Safety Officer is responsible for conducting regular safety inspections, identifying workplace hazards, monitoring compliance with safety procedures, and ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment. Daily duties include organizing toolbox talks, reviewing work permits, participating in risk assessments, preparing safety reports, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions. The Safety Officer also coordinates with project teams to maintain compliance with client requirements, supports emergency response activities, and promotes continuous safety awareness among all personnel. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Skills and Knowledge

Applicants should have relevant experience on industrial projects with a strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations, hazard identification, and permit-to-work systems.
