Key Responsibilities of the Position
As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies across project sites. Daily duties include conducting workplace inspections, identifying hazards, preparing risk assessments, monitoring work permits, organizing toolbox talks, ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), investigating incidents, preparing safety reports, and ensuring compliance with Aramco safety standards. You will also coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and project management to promote a strong safety culture while preventing workplace accidents and ensuring all project activities are performed safely and efficiently.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must be Aramco Certified Safety Officers, as this is the primary requirement for the position. Candidates holding NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certifications will be given preference. Previous experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Industrial Projects is essential. Applicants should possess a strong understanding of HSE regulations, hazard identification, risk management, emergency response procedures, and permit-to-work systems. Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are also required to effectively manage workplace safety and ensure compliance with project standards.
