Key Responsibilities and Daily Duties
The Fire Watch is responsible for continuously monitoring work areas before, during, and after hot work operations to eliminate fire risks. Daily duties include inspecting work locations, identifying combustible materials, ensuring fire extinguishers and emergency equipment are readily available, maintaining constant surveillance during hot work, reporting unsafe conditions immediately, and assisting the safety team during emergencies. Fire Watch personnel must strictly follow HSE procedures, communicate effectively with supervisors and workers, and ensure all safety requirements are met throughout the shutdown project.
Skills, Qualifications & Professional Requirements
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of industrial experience, preferably in shutdown, oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or construction projects. Applicants must possess a solid understanding of fire prevention techniques, emergency response procedures, hazard identification, and workplace safety regulations. Strong observation skills, physical fitness, teamwork, and the ability to remain alert throughout the work shift are essential. Candidates from all nationalities are eligible to apply, provided they meet the required experience and are available for immediate mobilization.
