Safety Officer, WPR & E&I Supervisor
Refinery and industrial maintenance projects require experienced professionals who understand strict safety procedures, permit systems, and technical coordination. A current recruitment opportunity is available for Safety Officer, Work Permit Receiver (WPR), and E&I Supervisor positions at the Jazan Refinery Project. The requirement is aimed at candidates with relevant refinery experience, particularly those familiar with Aramco-related project standards and controlled work environments.
Current Refinery Recruitment Opportunity
The recruitment covers three specialized positions with a combined requirement of 30 vacancies. Safety Officers are required at 30 SAR per hour, WPR personnel at 27 SAR per hour, and E&I Supervisors at 35 SAR per hour. Food and accommodation are stated to be provided by the company, while the project is described as a six-month contract.
Candidates should have previous refinery or petrochemical project experience and be comfortable working under strict permit-to-work and HSE procedures. The recruitment information also refers to Aramco refinery experience and Ajeer-related documentation.
Understanding the Available Roles
Safety Officers are responsible for monitoring work areas, identifying hazards, supporting toolbox meetings, reviewing safety procedures, and reporting unsafe activities. They may also assist with JSA reviews, inspections, incident documentation, and corrective-action follow-up.
WPR personnel coordinate controlled work through the permit-to-work system. Their responsibilities can include reviewing permit conditions, communicating requirements to work teams, coordinating with permit issuers, and ensuring that approved work remains within the defined scope. Knowledge of isolation and LOTO procedures can be important in refinery environments.
E&I Supervisors oversee electrical and instrumentation activities and coordinate technicians across different work fronts. They may review technical drawings, allocate daily tasks, monitor progress, coordinate with QC and HSE teams, and report project progress to management.
Experience, Skills & Eligibility
Applicants should have hands-on refinery, petrochemical, or industrial project experience relevant to their selected position. Previous Aramco refinery project experience is stated as a requirement, making this opportunity more suitable for experienced candidates rather than fresh applicants.
Safety Officers and WPR candidates should understand PTW, JSA, site safety requirements, and industrial work controls. E&I Supervisors should be capable of reading electrical and instrumentation drawings and managing multiple technical activities. Candidates should also be prepared to demonstrate practical experience during the recruitment process.
