A Safety Officer is responsible for helping maintain a safe and controlled working environment across construction and industrial projects. For this requirement, Unique Construction Company is looking for Safety Officers for a long-term project in Madinah. Although the position is non-Aramco, candidates must have Aramco experience, making practical knowledge of established industrial safety procedures an important requirement. The Safety Officer will support site management by identifying hazards, promoting safe working practices, and helping ensure that workers follow applicable safety procedures. Candidates should be responsible, alert, and capable of working professionally in a project environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Safety Officer will monitor daily work activities and identify unsafe conditions or practices that may create risks to workers, equipment, or the project. Responsibilities include conducting routine safety observations, communicating safety instructions, supporting site inspections, and ensuring workers follow appropriate safety precautions. The officer should coordinate with supervisors and work teams to address safety concerns promptly and encourage compliance with established procedures. Maintaining awareness of changing site conditions, reporting hazards, and supporting a strong safety culture will be important parts of the role.
Required Skills & Knowledge
Applicants must have previous Aramco experience despite the position being classified as non-Aramco. Candidates should understand industrial safety practices, hazard identification, personal protective equipment requirements, and general site safety procedures. Good communication, teamwork, observation skills, and the ability to follow and enforce safety requirements are essential. Applicants must also be able to provide the required documentation, including an updated CV, Iqama copy, passport copy, Muqeem, body fitness documentation, GOSI, and experienced ID cards. The original passport must be brought for verification.
