Manlift Operator – 15 SAR
A Manlift Operator is responsible for safely operating elevated work platforms used to provide workers with secure access to high-level work areas in construction, industrial, maintenance, and infrastructure projects. This position is required for a Long-Term Project with work locations in Ras Al Khair & Dammam. The operator plays an important role in supporting productive site operations by positioning the manlift correctly, following approved operating procedures, and ensuring that elevated access activities are conducted safely. The successful candidate must understand the importance of equipment checks, site awareness, safe positioning, and communication with workers operating around the equipment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
The selected Manlift Operator will operate the equipment according to site procedures and authorized instructions. Responsibilities include inspecting the manlift before use, checking the surrounding work area, positioning the equipment safely, and operating the platform carefully during lifting and lowering activities. The operator must remain alert to overhead hazards, nearby structures, other equipment, and personnel working in the area. Communication with supervisors and workers is essential, particularly during positioning and movement of the equipment. Any mechanical issue, unsafe condition, or operational concern should be reported promptly to the responsible site personnel. The operator is also expected to maintain professional discipline and follow all applicable project safety requirements throughout the assignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Applicants should have practical experience in operating manlift equipment and must meet the specified certification requirements for this opportunity. IPAF and TUV are mandatory. Candidates should have good safety awareness, equipment-handling skills, and the ability to follow site instructions accurately. The vacancy is open to Indian & Bangladeshi candidates.
