Safety Officer (SAR 30 per hour)

Saudi Arabia’s industrial and construction sector continues to require experienced safety professionals who can manage workplace risks and support safe project execution. Alfawad Engineering & Construction is currently seeking 2 Aramco-approved Safety Officers for an urgent requirement dated 26 August 2026. The position is designed for highly experienced candidates with a minimum of 7 years of experience on Aramco projects, along with recognized safety certifications and complete original documentation.

Role Overview & Importance

A Safety Officer is responsible for helping maintain safe working conditions across active project areas. On large industrial projects, the role involves monitoring high-risk activities, identifying hazards, supporting compliance with safety procedures, and communicating corrective actions to workers and supervisors.

For this requirement, candidates must have substantial Aramco project exposure. Their previous experience should enable them to understand site safety expectations, coordinate effectively with different teams, and respond professionally to potential hazards.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Selected Safety Officers will monitor daily work activities and conduct regular workplace inspections to identify unsafe conditions. They may be responsible for checking PPE compliance, supporting toolbox talks, observing critical work activities, and ensuring workers understand applicable safety precautions.

The role can also involve assisting with safety documentation, reporting incidents or near misses, following up on corrective actions, and coordinating with supervisors regarding hazardous activities. Since the duty is room-to-room, candidates should be comfortable moving between designated work areas and maintaining consistent safety oversight throughout the assigned project.

Experience, Certifications & Eligibility

Applicants must be Aramco approved and have a minimum of 7 years of experience working on Aramco projects. Candidates must also provide their safety certificates in original form, including BLS, First Aid, OSHA, NEBOSH, and IOSH.

The required documentation includes an original passport, Iqama, Muqeem, medical reports, Chamber agreement, and insurance. Candidates should ensure all documents are current and available for verification before proceeding with the application.

Strong communication skills, practical site-safety knowledge, hazard awareness, and the ability to work independently are important for this position.
