Saudi Arabia’s construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects depend on highly skilled heavy-equipment operators to handle lifting activities safely and efficiently. Crane operators play a particularly important role on projects involving large machinery, structural components, and heavy materials. Jabal Al Safat Trading Est is currently seeking five Aramco crane operators with experience operating a Terex RT 60-ton crane for a project in Madinah. Position Overview and Project Importance
A crane operator is responsible for controlling heavy lifting equipment and positioning loads accurately under the direction of the lifting team. Operating a 60-ton rough-terrain crane requires concentration, technical understanding, and strict adherence to lifting and site-safety procedures.
The operator works closely with riggers, lifting supervisors, signalmen, and other site personnel. Safe crane operation is essential because incorrect load handling or poor communication can create serious risks on busy construction sites. Experienced operators therefore contribute directly to both project productivity and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities on the Project
Selected crane operators will operate the Terex RT 60-ton crane for approved lifting and material-handling activities. Daily responsibilities may include conducting pre-operation inspections, checking equipment condition, reviewing load information, and ensuring the crane is positioned appropriately before lifting.
Operators will follow signals and instructions from authorized lifting personnel while maintaining careful control of suspended loads. They must monitor ground conditions, working clearances, load stability, and surrounding personnel throughout operations.
Any mechanical issue, abnormal equipment behavior, or unsafe site condition should be reported immediately to the responsible supervisor. Operators must also follow project procedures, site speed restrictions, PPE requirements, and applicable lifting regulations.
Skills, Experience and Eligibility
Candidates should have professional experience operating heavy rough-terrain cranes, particularly the Terex RT 60-ton model, and meet the stated Aramco crane operator requirement. Good communication, situational awareness, and knowledge of safe lifting practices are essential.
The recruitment requires an Absher Iqama, Muqeem with at least three months’ validity, Medical Fitness, CR copy, and Passport. Candidates must bring their original passport and documents to the office as instructed.
