Key Duties & Worksite Responsibilities
Safety Officers will support the project by monitoring workplace conditions, identifying hazards, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, conducting inspections, and encouraging workers to follow proper protective measures. Fire Watch or Stand By Men will monitor work areas for potential fire hazards, particularly during hot-work activities, remain alert throughout assigned duties, and communicate safety concerns promptly. Flagmen will control and guide vehicle and equipment movement, provide clear signals to operators, and help maintain safe traffic flow around active work areas. Fabricators will perform cutting, shaping, fitting, assembly, and related fabrication tasks according to drawings, measurements, and supervisor instructions. All selected workers must follow project safety rules, use appropriate protective equipment, maintain discipline, and cooperate with supervisors and other trades. Good communication, punctuality, teamwork, and awareness of site hazards will be important qualities for successful performance.
Skills, Qualifications & Documentation
