Work Permit Receiver (24 SAR per hour)
A Work Permit Receiver (WPR) plays an essential role in industrial projects by supporting the safe control and execution of authorized work activities. For this urgent requirement, Eid Al-Arabia Gen Cont. Est. is seeking qualified candidates for a 6-month project in Shuaiba, Saudi Arabia, with the possibility of extension. A total of 5 Work Permit Receiver positions are available at a rate of 24 SAR per hour. Applicants must hold Third Party WPR certification, and candidates with previous Saudi Energy and Shuaiba experience are particularly preferred. Having a Vendor in Saudi Energy is also required. Because WPR personnel are responsible for ensuring that work is performed under approved permits and safety conditions, candidates should have strong knowledge of permit systems, site safety requirements, and industrial work procedures.
Permit Control & Daily Responsibilities
The selected Work Permit Receivers will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and managing work permits in accordance with applicable site procedures. They will coordinate with supervisors, workers, and relevant safety personnel to ensure that work begins only after the necessary authorization and safety requirements have been completed. Responsibilities may include checking permit conditions, confirming that required precautions are in place, communicating permit limitations to work crews, monitoring compliance, and coordinating permit closure after work is completed. WPRs must remain aware of changing site conditions and immediately report unsafe situations or deviations from approved permit requirements. Candidates should be capable of maintaining accurate documentation and communicating effectively with different project teams. Previous experience in Saudi Energy and Shuaiba environments will be advantageous because familiarity with local procedures can help the selected professional perform the role efficiently and safely.
Certification, Experience & Eligibility
Applicants must have Third Party WPR certification from one of the specifically accepted institutes: Energy and Water Academy (EWA), Energy Tech Institute (ET), Gulf Laboratory Company (GCC LAB), or Al-Muhtarif Institute. Candidates should also have the required Saudi Energy Vendor status, while experience with Saudi Energy and Shuaiba is strongly preferred. Ajeer is mandatory, and a Chamber Agreement is also required for this opportunity. Applicants must prepare their Iqama Copy, Passport Copy, Muqeem Copy, CR Copy, Ajeer, and Chamber Agreement. Candidates visiting the office should additionally bring colour copies of their Iqama, Muqeem, CV, Agreement, and Insurance. All documents should be clear, valid, and ready for verification. Applicants should confirm that their certification, vendor details, Ajeer, and Chamber Agreement meet the project’s requirements before proceeding.
