Scaffolder
This is an urgent recruitment for experienced Scaffolders for a long-term project in Saudi Arabia. The role is part of large-scale construction and industrial operations where safe working platforms are essential for technicians, engineers, and maintenance teams working at height.
Scaffolders play a key role in ensuring safe access structures across oil, gas, and construction sites. The work requires strict adherence to safety regulations and engineering standards, especially in high-risk industrial environments where precision and stability are critical.
Work Responsibilities and Job Duties
The Scaffolder will be responsible for erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding structures according to technical drawings and site requirements. Duties include assembling pipes, clamps, and frameworks while ensuring full structural safety and stability.
Workers must inspect all scaffolding materials before use to ensure they are free from defects or damage. They are required to follow supervisor instructions and maintain compliance with safety standards throughout all phases of work.
Additional responsibilities include regular inspection of installed scaffolds to ensure ongoing safety, assisting in dismantling operations after project completion, and proper storage of materials for future use. Coordination with engineers, supervisors, and safety officers is essential for smooth site operations.
Skills and Professional Requirements
Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in scaffolding work within construction or industrial environments, especially oil & gas projects. Knowledge of scaffolding systems, load-bearing capacity, and height safety procedures is essential.
Original TUV certification is mandatory along with valid Chamber registration. Applicants must also understand safety protocols and be able to work efficiently in outdoor and high-altitude conditions.
Physical fitness, balance, teamwork, and communication skills are important for successful performance in this role. Experience in large-scale shutdown or construction projects will be an advantage.
