Crane Operator Long-term
Crane Operators are urgently required for heavy lifting operations in a long-term Aramco-approved project. This opportunity involves handling high-capacity cranes ranging from 220 to 500 metric tons at the Juaymah project site. The role is essential in ensuring safe, precise, and efficient lifting of heavy materials in industrial and construction environments. Job Purpose and Operational Description
The primary purpose of this role is to manage and operate heavy cranes for lifting, moving, and positioning large industrial components at the project site. Operators are expected to ensure smooth execution of lifting tasks while maintaining full control over equipment under different site conditions. Since this is an Aramco-related project, all operations must align with strict safety rules, vendor compliance requirements, and engineering instructions. The job demands high precision, situational awareness, and the ability to coordinate effectively with rigging teams and supervisors on site.
Core Duties and On-Site Responsibilities
Selected crane operators will be responsible for inspecting equipment before use, operating cranes according to load charts, and ensuring proper rigging support during lifting activities. They must follow lifting plans carefully and communicate clearly with signalmen and site engineers. Additional duties include maintaining operational safety, reporting equipment issues immediately, and ensuring that all lifting tasks are completed without delays or hazards. Operators must also adhere to site discipline, follow project instructions, and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Required Expertise, Certification, and Conditions
Applicants must hold valid Aramco approval and possess proven experience in operating heavy-duty cranes of 220, 250, or 500 metric tons. A mandatory vendor code is required for eligibility. Candidates should have a strong understanding of crane mechanics, load management, and industrial safety procedures. Updated CVs, original passports, and all relevant documents must be ready for submission. Strong communication skills, teamwork ability, and discipline are essential for successful performance in this role. Preference will be given to candidates with prior Gulf or large-scale project experience.
