Shutdown projects remain highly critical in Saudi Arabia’s industrial and mining sectors in 2026, requiring experienced safety support manpower for safe and uninterrupted project execution.
Fire Watchers play a major role in maintaining industrial workplace safety during welding, cutting, hot work, and maintenance operations where fire hazards and operational risks are elevated.
Main Responsibilities and Operational Duties
Selected candidates will be responsible for monitoring hot work activities, identifying fire hazards, maintaining fire prevention readiness, and ensuring safe working conditions during shutdown operations. Duties include observing welding and cutting activities, checking surrounding areas for safety risks, ensuring firefighting equipment availability, supporting emergency response coordination, and assisting site safety teams in maintaining compliance with industrial safety standards throughout shutdown operations.
Candidates are expected to follow project safety regulations strictly and support smooth operational workflow during maintenance and shutdown activities.
Required Skills and Professional Knowledge
Applicants with Maaden project experience will be preferred. Candidates should have basic industrial safety knowledge, awareness of fire prevention procedures, and the ability to work in shutdown project environments. Vendor code is mandatory for application.
