The selection will be based on testing, and rates will be finalized after evaluation.
Role Overview
Drivers will be responsible for transporting personnel safely and efficiently between assigned locations within the project site. Hiace Drivers will handle room-to-room transport services, ensuring timely movement of staff within designated areas, especially for SABIC-related operations. Heavy, Medium, and Bus Drivers will manage larger vehicles, transporting workers or materials as required by the project. These roles are essential for maintaining smooth logistical operations within the industrial environment of Al-Jubail. Drivers must ensure passenger safety, follow transport schedules, and maintain proper vehicle condition throughout their duty.
Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be expected to operate their assigned vehicles in a safe and professional manner, following all traffic and company regulations. Hiace Drivers must manage short-distance transport efficiently, ensuring punctual and safe movement of personnel. Heavy and Medium Drivers will be responsible for operating larger vehicles, maintaining proper control, and following assigned transport routes. Bus Drivers will handle group transportation duties, ensuring worker mobility between locations. All drivers must maintain vehicle cleanliness, report any mechanical issues, and cooperate with site supervisors for smooth transport operations. Since selection is test-based, driving skills and road safety awareness will be important factors in recruitment.
Skills, Experience, and Documents
Applicants must have valid driving experience appropriate to their category, along with knowledge of safe driving practices and industrial transport procedures. Hiace Drivers must possess SABIC ID as a mandatory requirement. Bangladeshi nationality is specifically required for Heavy, Medium (Coaster), and Bus Driver positions. Candidates must be familiar with vehicle handling under industrial conditions and be capable of working in a structured transport system. Required documents include Absher Iqama copy, passport copy, insurance copy, Muqeem copy, CR copy, and Chamber certificate. Proper documentation is essential for eligibility and verification.
