Instrument Technician Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical and industrial sectors continue to offer opportunities for experienced technical professionals who can support complex plant operations and maintenance activities. Instrumentation is particularly important in modern industrial facilities because accurate measurement, control, and monitoring help keep production systems safe and efficient. A current recruitment requirement dated 31 August 2026 is seeking Instrument Technicians for a SATORP project in Jubail. Five positions are available for candidates with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, with a three-month project duration and Chamber documentation required.
About the Position
An Instrument Technician works with the devices and systems responsible for monitoring and controlling industrial processes. In petrochemical and refinery environments, instrumentation plays a critical role in maintaining reliable plant performance. Technicians may work with transmitters, gauges, control instruments, sensors, and associated equipment while supporting maintenance and troubleshooting activities. Because these systems are connected to essential plant operations, technicians need practical knowledge, careful working habits, and the ability to follow established industrial procedures.
Daily Work & Technical Responsibilities
The selected technicians may be involved in inspection, testing, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial instrumentation systems. Their work can include identifying faulty instruments, checking connections and signals, assisting with preventive maintenance, and supporting repair activities when equipment problems occur. Technicians are also expected to coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance personnel and complete assigned tasks according to project procedures. Working safely around operating equipment and following site requirements will be an important part of the role.
Experience & Eligibility Requirements
This opportunity is specifically aimed at experienced Instrument Technicians. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience, making practical industrial exposure an essential requirement. Experience in refinery, petrochemical, or similar process-industry environments can be particularly relevant to this type of assignment. The recruitment notice states that Chamber documentation is required. Applicants should ensure their documents and experience details are ready for verification and should confirm the project’s latest selection requirements before proceeding.
