Mechanical Shutdown Workforce

An urgent shutdown manpower requirement has been announced for multiple technical and supervisory roles in a large-scale industrial project based in Maaden, Saudi Arabia. These roles are essential for ensuring safe, efficient, and timely completion of maintenance and installation activities during the shutdown period. Key Responsibilities

The Mechanical Supervisor will oversee shutdown mechanical operations, coordinate workforce activities, and ensure compliance with safety and technical standards. The Fabricator Supervisor will manage fabrication teams, monitor work quality, and ensure accurate execution of fabrication tasks. Mechanical Fitters will carry out assembly, alignment, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment. Welders (CS/SS) will perform structural welding tasks according to project requirements, with certified card holders often exempt from client interviews. Millwrights will handle installation and maintenance of heavy machinery, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. Pipe Fabricators will prepare and assemble piping systems as per engineering drawings, while Machinists will operate machining equipment for precision component work. All roles contribute directly to safe and efficient shutdown execution.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must have relevant industrial experience in mechanical, fabrication, welding, or machining fields, preferably in shutdown or oil & gas projects. Supervisory roles require strong leadership, planning, and coordination abilities. Fitters, fabricators, and millwrights must understand mechanical systems, tools, and industrial installation procedures. Welders must hold valid certifications or running cards for CS/SS welding work. Machinists should have expertise in operating industrial machines with precision. All applicants must be physically fit, safety-aware, and capable of working under strict shutdown timelines. Experience in Saudi industrial projects will be considered a strong advantage.
