Index International General Contracting Co. Ltd is currently offering urgent recruitment for skilled Rigger II professionals for an industrial project in Nairyah. This opportunity is focused on construction and lifting operations where experienced rigging personnel are required to support safe and efficient material handling activities. The role is suitable for candidates with proven offshore or onshore rigging experience and valid certification. Due to the nature of the project, only qualified and experienced applicants will be considered for selection.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Rigger II candidates will be responsible for assisting lifting operations, preparing loads, and ensuring proper rigging techniques are followed during material movement. Workers must follow supervisor instructions carefully and ensure all lifting activities are carried out in compliance with safety standards. The role includes inspection of rigging equipment, securing loads properly, and supporting crane operations during construction activities. Strict adherence to site safety rules and teamwork coordination is mandatory throughout the project.
Skills and Knowledge
Applicants must hold an original TUV certification and have prior experience in rigging operations within industrial or construction environments. Candidates should understand lifting procedures, load calculations, and safe handling techniques. Strong awareness of occupational safety standards and ability to work under supervision in physically demanding conditions is required. Only Bangladeshi and Indian nationals are eligible for this position as per project requirements.
