Key Responsibilities
Selected Rigger III personnel will be responsible for assisting in lifting operations under the supervision of higher-level rigging staff and site engineers. Duties include attaching and detaching loads, inspecting rigging equipment such as slings, hooks, and chains, and ensuring proper signaling during crane operations. Riggers must verify load weights, follow lifting plans, and ensure all operations are carried out safely according to approved procedures. They are also required to maintain communication with crane operators and supervisors to ensure precise coordination during lifting activities. Strict adherence to safety rules and proper use of personal protective equipment is mandatory at all times. Since this is a long-term project, discipline, reliability, and technical awareness are essential.
Skills and Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid TUV Rigger III card, which is mandatory for this position. Candidates should have practical experience in rigging operations within industrial or construction environments. Knowledge of lifting procedures, load calculations, and rigging safety standards is required. Applicants must also possess valid Iqama (minimum 6 months), passport (minimum 1-year validity), medical fitness certificate, CR copy, Muqeem, and AJEER documents for processing.
