Global Workforce Solutions (GWS) has announced an urgent recruitment drive for 35 Aramco-certified Riggers for the Jafura Hyundai project in Saudi Arabia. The positions offer long-term employment, monthly salary payment, and company-provided food, accommodation, and transportation.
Available Rigger Positions and Project Importance
The recruitment is focused on two categories: Rigger Level 1 and Rigger Level 3. Both positions are important to industrial lifting operations, although the responsibilities and certification levels differ.
Riggers work closely with crane operators, supervisors, lifting teams, and other site personnel. Their ability to understand lifting requirements, communicate clearly, and follow established safety procedures helps reduce the risk of accidents and equipment damage. For a large industrial project such as Jafura Hyundai, experienced and properly certified riggers are an important part of the site workforce.
Duties and Responsibilities on Site
Rigger Level 1 and Level 3 personnel will assist with preparing loads for lifting, selecting and using appropriate rigging equipment, attaching and securing loads, and guiding lifting operations. Workers may handle slings, shackles, hooks, lifting accessories, and other equipment used during material movement.
Riggers will also communicate with crane operators and lifting supervisors through approved signals and communication methods. Before lifting activities begin, they are expected to check the condition of rigging equipment and report any unsafe or damaged items.
Maintaining safe working distances, following site instructions, keeping the work area organized, and complying with project HSE procedures will be important parts of the daily role.
Skills, Certification & Eligibility
Applicants should have practical rigging experience and the ability to work safely around cranes, heavy equipment, and suspended loads. The recruitment specifically requires Aramco certification for both Rigger Level 1 and Rigger Level 3 positions. Candidates should therefore have valid certification available for verification.
The required documentation includes a valid Iqama, Passport, Visa, Insurance, Medical Fitness Report, Aramco Certificate, and Chamber. Candidates are instructed to bring colour hard copies of all documents along with their original passport when visiting the office.
