Key Responsibilities

They communicate continuously with crane operators through approved hand signals or radio communication, monitor lifting activities, maintain safe working distances, and ensure all lifting procedures comply with project safety standards. Riggers also participate in toolbox meetings, report defective lifting equipment, assist supervisors with lift planning, and help maintain an organized and hazard-free worksite throughout the project.
