Safety Officer
An excellent long-term career opportunity is available for experienced Safety Officers (Aramco Approved) with an Aramco Project Contractor working in the Berri–Jubail Industrial Project, Saudi Arabia. This role is highly important in maintaining strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance across large-scale oil & gas and industrial construction projects. Safety Officers ensure that all site activities are conducted in line with Aramco standards, minimizing risks, preventing accidents, and maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel. This opportunity is suitable for experienced professionals with strong Aramco project exposure and safety certification.
Key Responsibilities
Selected Safety Officers will be responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE policies in accordance with Aramco project standards. Duties include conducting regular site inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented immediately. Safety Officers must ensure that all workers follow safety procedures, use proper PPE, and comply with permit-to-work systems. Additional responsibilities include preparing safety reports, conducting toolbox talks, investigating incidents, and coordinating with project engineers and supervisors to maintain safe working conditions throughout the project.
Skills and Requirements
Applicants must have 5–7 years of experience in oil & gas or large-scale construction safety roles with valid Aramco approval. Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment procedures, and industrial safety standards is essential. Candidates must be familiar with Aramco safety protocols and vendor compliance requirements. Required documents include updated CV, valid Iqama (minimum 3 months), Muqeem, Aramco Vendor Code, Insurance documents, Medical Fitness Certificate, Online Chamber registration, and CR details. Applicants should demonstrate strong communication skills, leadership ability, and the capacity to work in high-pressure industrial environments.
